Teak Serving Platter Monggo

This Teak serving platter is rather chunky, and has rather chunky solid brass handles. It has a quite small diameter of 33 centimeters, but it still very useful for serving cheeses and salami’s with crackers, or a few pieces of fruit. It is made from a quite thick piece of Teak where the natural features are left intact, resulting in the wonderful rustic character of the piece. The antique finish on the brass handles only adds to the overall look. The platter is finished with food grade mineral oil in multiple coats, which seals and protects the wood, and also brings out the rich brown color.
