We take a hand carved and shaped Teak bowl and white paint is carefully applied to the outside, making sure the natural rim of the bowl is not painted. The super-smooth inside is treated to a few coats of mineral oi,l which is clear and food safe. The mineral oil protects the wood and is easy to clean and maintain. Protective lacquer outside seals the paint.
