Teak Slice Serving Board with Spoon Handle

Here’s a funky serving board that is a little different. We take a slice right through a Teak tree of just the right size, and the result is a completely unique board that exhibits the natural outline of the tree, the growth rings and other features. We sand it super-smooth removing all the sharp edges and apply coats of food grade mineral oil which seals and protects the wood and makes the color and the features stand out. We then affix a large spoon made from solid brass with its own mounting points incorporated, and also a lovely antique finish. The spoon serves as a carrying handle and also a small receptacle for condiments that compliment whatever snacks and eats you are bringing to your guests.
