Extra Large Teak Serving Bowl Adagio with Distressed Gold Leaf Interior and Exterior

These bowls have so much character; each one is completely individual because of the natural edge and also because of the hand rubbed distressing of the finish. Each bowl is shaped by hand from a rough chunk of Teak until its beautiful natural form is exposed, and the shape of the edge is left untouched so each one is different from the others. Smoothed down and smoothed again before any finishing is applied, these bowls are a joy to touch, hold and use. The bowls are finished with a strong food-safe lacquer making them easy to use in the kitchen, and easy to clean. The real gold leaf is applied very carefully before being artistically aged to give the fantastic look you see in the photos here. This model has the gold leaf applied to both the inside and outside surfaces.
