Toscana Teak Bowl, Whitewashed

The Toscana bowl is made from Teak root. It has the chunky countenance and rich color of items made from this material. This one has added texture carved into by the skilled craftsmen who make it. This takes the form of ridges carved into the wide lip and the underside, which is then enhanced by the application of a whitewash finish. The inside is scooped out and sanded super-smooth before the application of mineral oil. Safe to use in the kitchen, you can serve a salad in it, or display some fruit.
